Kenshin Martial Arts expanding

The 10 foot by 50 foot red and white tent that recently sprung up next to the Falcon Fire Protection District Fire station and the High Prairie Library on Highway 24 is a temporary structure on the new permanent land for Kenshin Martial Arts. Owner Dave Caban said they are breaking ground in December for two new buildings that will be completed by next summer.

“One building will be for the martial arts studio, and there will be a secondary building available for small businesses to rent space at a lower rental cost,” Caban said. “I want to help small businesses in the community to get up to speed.”

While housed in the temporary tent, Kenshin Martial Arts will continue to provide the same programs for children and adults — Little Dragons, Karate, Jujutsu, Aikido, Combat Hapkido and before-and-after school programs servicing El Paso County Colorado District 49 schools.

The new location is at 9015 Chicago Ave. in Falcon.
