Les Schwab Tire Center opened its doors in Falcon Nov. 15 of last year. Along with tire sales, the store provides automotive services such as brakes, wheels, alignments, batteries, shocks and struts ó to name a few.Store manager Kolton Klein said Les Schwab opened his first store in 1952 in Bend, Oregon. The business grew in the Pacific Northwest and has been expanding its reach to a total of 10 western states, including Colorado. The Falcon store is the 460th to open and the 30th in Colorado.Klein has been with the company 12 years, starting in Missoula, Montana. He was later promoted to assistant manager for a store in southeastern Washington and now store manager in Falcon. He and his wife moved to Colorado Springs for this job and are hoping to settle into a home in the Falcon area as soon as they can.ìWeíve wanted to come to Colorado,î Klein said. ìLes Schwab is new in Colorado, and I wanted to be part of that and help bring world-class customer service to the Falcon area.ìWe want to take care of all our customers. They are our No. 1 priority.î Same day service is one way the store takes care of its customers. ìWe really strive to get all of our cars done the same day for whatever service they are needing. Since weíve opened this store, we havenít had anyone wait longer than one hour,î Klein said. To accomplish their customer service goals, they keep a large inventory of tires and parts in stock and have well-trained staff.The store offers free safety services such as brake checks, alignment checks, tire rotations, flat repairs and pre-trip safety checks. No past or current purchase is necessary for these services.Les Schwab also gives back to the community. The Falcon store has donated to a high school to help with education and sports programs, participated in Toys for Tots and donated animals to the 4H club.The Falcon store is located at 7105 Old Meridian Road and is open Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Appointments and walk-in customers are welcome.
