Bare Beans Espresso, a disabled veteran owned business, opened in 2019 at 7110 Old Meridian Road to a friendly and welcoming community, said Richard and Maria, the owners (the owners do not wish to publish their last names). ìBesides living in and owning property in Falcon, customer support is one reason we chose to†stay and work in Falcon,î the couple said. ìSince we live in Falcon, we wanted to provide a coffee†shop that offered artesian created coffee, frappes, lattes, drip coffee, hot/cold teas, hot chocolates and smoothies.î The couple said they†purchase fair trade beans from a veteran-owned coffee roaster, and offer more than 25 flavored syrups and sauces. ìThat number grows every couple of weeks, and the syrups and sauces†are all non-GMO natural flavor products,î they said.†The owners give back to the community as well, by supporting nonprofit organizations like Mill Dog Rescue, Little Libraries, Little Pantries, Veteran Puppies for Life, Batman4Paws and several other animal and veteran charities†ó they donate each month†to a different cause.ìWe offer some food items, and that menu will expand over time,î the couple said. Their employees are encouraged to design and develop drinks to offer customers. Bare Beans Espresso†is open Monday through Friday,†from 5:30 a.m. to 6 p.m; and Saturday and Sunday, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. They also offer catering service for coffee, tea, frappes and smoothies to offices and outdoor events around the Pikes Peak Region.
