Jessa Kihn purchased Encore Salon; and, after making a few changes, re-opened it in January as Jessaís Beauty Parlor. According to her Facebook page, the reviews are enthusiastic.This is her first venture into the beauty business, but Kihn said she has owned other businesses in Maryland.Kihn lives in Fountain, and chose Falcon for her business because of all the wonderful things she had heard about the area. ìI like how Falcon is a small-knit community,î she said. ìI wanted to be a new establishment that grew with the rest of the town.îJessaís Beauty Parlor has four hair stylists, and also offers facials, eyelash extensions, gel manicures, waxing and complimentary paraffin treatments.Kihnís goal is to make her business ìa place where people love to go, where they can make new friendships while they get pampered.îA grand opening is in the works, but a date has not yet been determined.
