The Buffalo Grass Acoustic Society presents acoustic music concert performances September through June (except December). Headline acts include top local and traveling artists performing traditional folk, bluegrass, western and other types of Americana roots music and poetry. The concerts take place the third Friday of each month at the Cowboy Church of Peyton at 15504 Bradshaw Road (1 mile north of Murphy Road). Families are encouraged to attend. For those who play instruments, a free open acoustic jam begins at 5:30 p.m., and the concert starts at 7 p.m. Concerts include two open-stage performers, followed by a featured act.
