All of the following events are held at the Meridian Ranch Recreation Center: 10301 Angeles Drive in Falcon. You need not be a MRRC Association or HOA member to attend any of the events.
- Lunch Out!†Each month on the first Friday at 1 p.m. is lunch out, and anyone is welcome.†”Drop Ins” are wonderful, but to ensure seating, call ahead of time so we can add you to our reservation list. Also, you can call us for the place and time.
- Intro to Stretch: Wednesdays at 11:15 a.m.
- SilverSneaker Classic: Tuesdays and Thursdays at 11 a.m. (While this is not a formal Intro class, it is a good way to get started in muscle strength and flexibility.†It is not an aerobic class. SilverSneaker insurance is not required.
New: Join us at Meridian Ranch for Pinochle or the domino game called Mexican Train! You do not need to be a resident of Meridian Ranch to participate, and there is no charge.†All levels of players are welcome.
Pinochle: first and third Thursday of each month ó†12:30 – 4 p.m.
Mexican Train: second and fourth Thursdays of each month ó12:30 4 p.m.If you have Silver Sneakers with your insurance policy, you can come to the Meridian Recreation Center and take any exercise class that is offered at no charge: water and land classes!
Fourth of JulyJuly 1: Meridian Ranch is partnering with Falcon Freedom Days for the fourth annual Red White and Blue Fun Walk/Run. This year will include a 10k in addition to the 5k.† Register at raceroster.com by June 10 to get the best price and to be guaranteed a shirt.Along with the race, there will be a pancake breakfast, sponsored by†Antler†Creek Golf Course†to benefit the†Rocky Mountain Childhood Cancer Foundation.†The breakfast is open to the public.After the race, at 8 a.m., a special event for kids will take place.
