The Pikes Peak Regional Building Department, as the acting floodplain administrator for El Paso County, in accordance with National Flood Insurance Program regulation 65.7(b)(1), hereby gives notice of Hummel Investments, LLCís intent to revise the flood hazard information, generally located between E. Woodmen Road and Owl Road, immediately west of Meridian Drive.†Specifically, the flood hazard information shall be revised along the Unnamed Tributary to Black Squirrel Creek from a point approximately at the north right-of-way of E. Woodmen Road and 500 feet west of Meridian Drive to a point approximately 1,300 feet north of E. Woodmen Road and 500 feet west of Meridian Drive.†As a result of the revision the 1% annual chance floodplain shall widen and/or narrow within the area of revision.†Maps and detailed analysis of the revision can be reviewed at the Pikes Peak Regional Building Department at 2880 International Circle, Colorado Springs, CO 80910.† Interested persons may call the Floodplain Administrator at (719) 327-2898 for additional information, weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
