All of the following events are held at the Meridian Ranch Recreation Center:10301 Angeles Drive in Falcon. You need not be a MRRC Association or HOA member to attend any of the events.
- Lunch Out!†Each month on the first Friday at 1 p.m. is lunch out, and anyone is welcome.†”Drop Ins” are wonderful, but to ensure seating, call ahead of time so we can add you to our reservation list. Also, you can call us for the place and time.
- Intro to Stretch: Wednesdays at 11:15 a.m.
- SilverSneaker Classic: Tuesdays and Thursdays at 11 a.m. (While this is not a formal Intro class, it is a good way to get started in muscle strength and flexibility.†It is not an aerobic class. SilverSneaker insurance is not required.
Christmas PotluckDec. 8, from 12:15 to 2 p.m.: A ham will be provided. Please bring either a side dish, a salad or a dessert to share. Open to the public. Please R.S.V.P. by Tuesday, Dec. 6, by calling the MRRC. Should anyone have dietary needs/restrictions, they are welcome to bring their own food and simply come and have fun. It is optional to participate in either the Ugly Sweater Contest and/or the Wrapped White Elephant gift exchange. (Value not to exceed $10)
Recycling friendsNow through Dec. 15, the MRRC is collecting empty water bottles with lids.†Several food banks buy liquid laundry/dishwashing soap in bulk, which is then put in a bottle to hand out to families in need, along with food.
