Walden Preserve 2 ñ vacation and re-platThe El Paso County Planning Commission approved a request by Custom Castles Building Co. Inc., for a vacate and re-plat for Filing 3 in the Walden Preserve 2, located at the intersection of Walden Way and Needles Drive. The current plat consists of five parcels zoned as planned unit development within the Black Forest Preservation Plan area. The total parcel measures 18.48 acres, and the final plat would include four single-family residential lots on 4.03 acres and 14.46 acres of open space.Vistas at Meridian Ranch ñ pre-development site gradingThe EPC Board of County Commissioners approved a request from GTL Development for pre-development site grading for the 56.10-acre PUD located at the northwest corner of Stapleton Drive and Eastonville Road. The property is located within the Falcon/Peyton Small Area Master Plan.Meadow Lake Airport ñ memorandum feesThe BOCC approved a request from the Meadow Lake Airport Association to waive a submittal fee of $2,937 associated with the subdivision exemption process and a $427 fee associated with the early assistance process. The site is located south of Judge Orr Road and east of Cessna Drive.Bennet Ranch Channel ProjectThe commissioners approved the release of $949,250 from the Treasurerís Storm Drainage Basin Trust Fund for the Bennett Ranch Channel Project, and also recognized federal revenue received from the Natural Resources Conservation Service for $2,847,750 for fire and flood mitigation.
