The Exchange Club of Falcon hosted its eighth annual Child Abuse Prevention Charity Golf Tournament at the beautiful Antler Creek Golf Course in Falcon June 16. The foursome from Steller Corp. placed first in the tournament.Hole-in-one sponsors Al Serra Chevrolet and Mike Shaw Buick GMC brought in a 2016 Chevy truck, and a 2016 GMC truck, respectively, that were on display during the tournament. Platinum sponsors that donated $1,000 for the tournament included American Insurance Exchange, Coca-Cola, Frito-Lay, The Innovative Group, Pepsi-Cola and Steller Solutions. Sponsors who donated up to $500 for the special event included Comfort Dental of Falcon, Falcon Family Eye Care, Hotel Elegante, La Mission Family Restaurant, Palmer Chiropractic, State Bank, State Farm insurance and United Life.Representatives from Aurelius, Gold Orb Travel and Dixon Golf were also on the greens with prizes and their enthusiasm. Prizes for putting (a new Fender guitar from Coca-Cola) and chipping (a SmartWatch from Walmart Super Market of Falcon), along with raffle prizes from a variety of businesses, were awarded after a great lunch buffet.Bob Miller, chairman of this yearís tournament, and the entire Exchange Club membership would like to thank the 68 golfers and 15 hole sponsors who came out to support the efforts of the club members and the organizations that deal with child abuse and prevention issues in the county.If you wish to join the Exchange Club of Falcon in its community work focusing on Americanism, community service and youth programs, contact the group at info@exchangecluboffalcon.com.
