Vectrus Inc. donated firefighting equipment to the Peyton Fire Protection District in May.The equipment includes firefighter masks, breathing apparatus, oxygen tanks and a thermal imaging device. ìWe are pleased to donate this equipment to Chief Charles Omdahl and the Peyton Fire Protection District,î said Charles Anderson, senior vice president of Vectrus. ìThis equipment was used in support of a Vectrus contract overseas; and, when it became surplus to our needs we wanted to have it go to work for our local volunteer firefighters, who give so much of themselves to protect our lives and our property.îVectrus is a global government services company that provides infrastructure asset management services, information technology and network communication services, and logistics and supply chain management services to U.S. government customers around the world.
