As part of its ongoing support of local communities, Subaru of America Inc. and Heuberger Subaru presented a check for $45,000 to All Breed Rescue & Training and a check to Upadowna for $10,000 April 6 at Heuberger Subaru in Motor City. All Breed Rescue & Training and UpaDowna were selected by Heuberger Subaru as their ìHometown Charityî choice for Subaruís Share the Love program.From Nov.19 to Jan. 2, customers who purchased or leased a new Subaru vehicle were able to select a recipient from a list of charities that would receive a $250 donations from Subaru of America. Over the last seven years, SOA has donated $50 million to a number of worthy causes through the Subaru Share the Love event.SOA selected four national charities: ASPCAƆ(The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to AnimalsÆ), Make-A-WishÆ, Meals On Wheels AmericaƆand National Park Foundation. Heuberger Subaru elected to add additional local charities to the list in support of the community.John Adams, director of operations for Heuberger Motors, presented the checks.
