Dinner and danceThe Portuguese Society is hosting an all-you-can-eat dinner featuring cioppino (crab, shrimp and mussels), salad, garlic bread, Malasadas (Portuguese donuts) and one complimentary bottle of wine per table. The dinner will be held Feb. 27 at the Colorado Springs Shrine Club hall at 6 South 33rd St in Old Colorado City (near Safeway). A cocktail hour from 5 to 6 p.m. with a cash bar kicks off the evening, and the dinner and entertainment takes place from 6 p.m. to 10.The band, ìVehicleî will play modern country, jazz and big band music, featuring oldies, classic rock and today’s rock & roll.Costs: dinner and dance tickets:†$35 each, if prepaid by Feb. 20.
