Rumor has it that the county commissioners have approved the use of drones to oversee marijuana growing operations in the eastern part of the county. Because of new regulations by the commissioners, pot ìpoachingî could become a real problem.Rumor has it that a couple from Iowa purchased property in Peyton for the purpose of establishing a hemp ìfarm,î which is legal at the federal level. They hope to have a small store on the property, as well, to sell hemp-based products or to wholesale hemp to others who make hemp products.
