The second graders at Meridian Ranch Elementary School participated in the schoolís annual wax museum. Teachers helped students select a historical figure ó and the second graders then researched their person of choice and completed a rubric, along with a timeline ofevents from the characterís life. On May 14, the students dressed in costume and invited family, friends and other students to an event showcasing a bit of history. Each character stood completely still, until a person pushed a button; then, the character came to life and presented facts about his or her life. |
