Equi-Line, previously located in Falcon, has relocated to Latigo Equestrian Center in Elbert, Colorado. Mary Watson-Cone, owner, said they moved to their new facility March 1.ìI have always wanted a free-standing building where I could do things like put a hitching post out front, have barbecues out on the patio and have fundraisers,î Watson-Cone said. She said Latigo approached her last fall about making the transition. A church that had been renting the pavilion moved on.The move was fortuitous for Equi-Line. ìDue to the continual increase in rent each year (in Falcon), it was a good business decision to move to a place with lower rent,î Watson-Cone said. ìThis place is one-third the cost, with an increase in square feet available.îThe Latigo Equestrian Center has become a ìwell-rounded equestrian community,î she said. The center offers food at The Grill at Latigo, and a custom leather worker, Frank Billingham, is on board as well. Equi-Line will add to the center with a full array of veterinary supplies and vaccines and a consignment space for horse tack and equipment.
