On Jan. 2, Fourth Judicial District Court Judge Michael McHenry ruled on the civil suit that Ron Pace filed against the people and businesses responsible for the content and design of the campaign fliers, along with the Facebook page, for the 2014 Woodmen Hills board election. Pace alleged that the flyers and the Facebook page contained information damaging to his reputation, which caused him to lose the election. McHenry dismissed the charges and mandated that Pace reimburse the defendants for legal fees associated with the suit.
