Falcon Family Eye Care is being ìoverseenî by new ownership. Dr Andrew Royer sold the practice to Dr Amanda Walls in May. Royer moved to St. Louis after seven years serving the Falcon community.ìWeíre excited about meeting all our patients and making sure everyone knows weíre not changing everything on everybody,î Walls said. ìMost things will stay the same, including staff and hours.îWalls said she chose to buy a practice in Falcon because the community closely matches her Texas small town roots. ìThe Falcon area felt like a better fit for me than Colorado Springs did,î she said. ìI feel people here are bigger-hearted and enjoy company more than people in the city.îThe primary changes she hopes to bring to the practice include an emphasis on pediatric patients and a focus on medical advances for eyesight. ìWe were already a big supporter of High Plains Little League,î Walls said. ìAfter the last three years doing pediatrics, I enjoy having the kids around. Giving people the best care is the top priority.îFalcon Family Eye Care is located at 7685 McLaughlin Road in the Safeway shopping center near The Bar.
