The Elbert Day Festival is Aug. 16, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., in Elbert, Colorado. Join the fun,beginning with a country-style breakfast and a pancake race. The festival includes a parade,old-time games for all ages, a petting zoo, pony rides, roping and a 5K race. Antique cars will be on display, and visitors can browse craft and art booths and plenty of food vendors. Listen to live music, featuring Barry Ward and Carlos Washingtion – and many more.
