The Peyton Panthers Booster Club is sponsoring a 5K run/walk and community picnic Saturday, June 7, at 4 p.m. at Peyton High School. Registration begins at 3:15 p.m. The pre-registration entry fee is $5; kids under age 6 can participate at no charge. After May 28, the entry fee is $10. A community picnic will follow the race at the Peyton High School football stadium. The event is open to everyone.There will be great food, music and prizes. The Peyton student with the most donations will win an Xbox 1, and the top two families with the most donations will win a one-night stay at a hotel in Summit County. All participants are eligible for prizes like zoo passes, Sky Sox tickets, bicycles, gift cards and more. Every participant will receive a commemorative T-shirt.
