Matt Meister, KRDO News Channel 13 chief meteorologist, is changing his work climate. In late May, Meister will take on the role of communications director for Falcon School District 49.Meister will remain with KRDO until late May but he will begin working with the districtís communications team in April to make a seamless transition.Peter Hilts, D 49 chief education officer, said in a press release, ìWeíre looking forward to Matt becoming our director of communications. Matt brings a long-standing commitment to the schools of El Paso County. Under his leadership, our communications team will continue to improve how we engage our community and its stakeholders, as a trustworthy recipient of taxpayer investment.îEditorís note: The NFH plans to interview Meister for a one-on-one after he is settled at the district.
