The Falcon Education Foundation will host its annual awards dinner and auction April 18 at the Colorado Springs Marriott Hotel. This year, the auction will feature electronic bidding, which opens April 11 and runs through the close of the April 18 auction. Corrie Chapman, FEF volunteer, said bids can be placed anywhere, anytime via a smartphone, tablet or computer before the close of the auction.Money from the event supports student scholarships, teacher grants, awards for outstanding individuals, recognition of retiring educators and a high school invitational event, Chapman said.Community members who wish to participate in the auction can visit the Falcon School District 49 website at http://d49.org April 11 and click on the auction.
