The Peyton Panthers Booster Club is newly revamped with new officers: Jon Weiler, president; Jim Eckelberry, vice president; Ken Starkie, vice president of fundraising; Al Kearse, treasurer; Kelli Sattari, secretary/reporter.The officers are working on a mission statement, creating bylaws and a website. They are also forming a scholarship committee for Peyton High School seniors planning to attend a university, community college, technical institute, etc.The booster club has also been working concession stands at various venues and set up a merchandise stand at most basketball games at Peyton High School. The club has provided monetary and food donations to Peyton families in need. They are working on sponsoring a golf tournament to be held this spring as well as a 5K/walk-a-thon.
