Visitors are welcome to tour the historic Black Forest Log School at the corner of Black Forest and Shoup roads on Thursday afternoons, from noon to 3 p.m. The tours end Aug. 15. The free museum represents school life in a one-room log building constructed on donated land in 1922 by local residents who supplied their own lumber. For more information, contact 719-495-2001.
