- Rumor has it that a coffee shop is coming to town and was scheduled to open in the Walmart shopping center. However, things, of course, got mixed up with the leasing agent, and the coffee shop owner went to the closing table not knowing there would be a different agreement than she had previously made with another agent. She didnít close the lease and is now looking for new space or considering re-negotiating with the Walmart Center. So, look for a coffee shop soon ñ or not.
- Rumor has it that a water park is still being considered for Falcon or Peyton. We have previously reported this rumor ñ and nothing came of it ñ but apparently itís back on the table. Alongside that rumor is one about a public pool that could be built in Falcon.
- Rumor has it that a group of artists are considering opening a gallery in Falcon, similar to the one in Manitou Springs, where artists can display their individual pieces for a minimum amount per month. Artists are then asked to physically work the store, instead of the gallery charging commissions.
