Peter Kummerfeldt will speak on wilderness and outdoor safety, including surviving an emergency in the wilderness, building fires, food and water procurement and preparation, emergency signaling and more.Kummerfeldt is a member of many national organizations, including the Outdoor Writers of America Association, the Foundation for North American Wild Sheep and the Federation of Fly Fishermen.The event is sponsored by the Pikes Peak Chapter of Pheasants Forever.The presentation will take place Jan. 8 at 6:30 p.m. in the CDOW training classroom at 4255 Sinton Road in Colorado Springs.
