The Mining Museum will celebrate its 30th anniversary Saturday, July 14, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Opened in 1982, the museum continues to be the ìMuseum that Works!î The anniversary celebration will include steam engines that rumble to life; a trammer that speeds down the rail; and a ìtop downî tour of the Museumís Stamp Mill Gold Refinery will be offered.Complete with a piece of anniversary cake and a special admission rate of only $3 per person, this will be an interactive celebration for the whole family.†The Board of Trustees will be on hand to recognize and appreciate the support of the Mining Museumís membership.
