Five years ago, Tire King opened in Falcon as a one-bay tire shop. In 2011, the shop expanded to three service bays and in mid-April this year, the shop added its fourth service bay.Dan Hawkins and his son Jason are co-owners of the business. ìWhen we first expanded about eight months ago, we started doing the service work like brakes, shocks, alignments, that kind of stuff,î Jason Hawkins said.With the addition of the fourth bay, which is the tire bay, Hawkins said Tire King can handle just about anything a vehicle needs. ìTwo of our bays have regular lifts in them so we can do oil changes and that kind of stuff,î he said. ìThe third bay is getting a 25,000-pound lift that can accommodate the really big trucks.îTire King is at 8345 Blue Gill Dr. The hours of operation will remain the same: Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Saturday 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
