The Exchange Club of Falcon has honored Harriet Bauer as ìExchangite of the Year 2011.î Bauer is a charter member and has served as treasurer in 2010 and 2011. Her attention to detail and accuracy has kept the Exchange Clubís finances without error.Bauer attended West Chester State Teacherís College and received her bachelorís degree in education from Evergreen State College in Olympia, Wash. She also earned a masterís degree from the University of Puget Sound, Tacoma, Wash., and a doctorate in educational administration from the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Va.Bauer has worked as a volunteer with the Colorado Senior Victim Assistance Team and the Ministry of Mothers Sharing. She continues to act as a court appointed special advocate ñ helping abused and neglected kids. She has been married to Joe Bauer for 54 years and has four children, seven grandchildren, three great grandchildren and has fostered four children.
