Wrestling camps

Calhan High School is hosting three wrestling clinics this summer in conjunction with InspireLivesNow, a nonprofit organization helping people follow their dreams despite financial obstacles. The camps will be held June 25, July 9 and July 16.The camps create an opportunity for Olympic Training Center athletes to continue to train in Colorado and at the OTC. Proceeds directly support OTC resident athletes.Featured clinicians are Brandon Slay, head resident freestyle coach, 2000 Gold Medalist, All American at Penn.; Moza Fay, multiple All American from the University of Northern Iowa and current OTC resident, also ranked fifth in U.S. Senior standings; Wynn Michalak, NCAA runner up and All American from Central Michigan, OTC resident, also ranked third in U.S. Senior standings; as well as other clinicians from the OTC. Camp times are 9-11 a.m. for ages 6-12 (novice) and 12-2:30 p.m. for ages 10-18 (experienced or older group). Cost is $25 per day per session if prepaid online at http://inspirelives.us; $35 for walk-in or late registration (less than a week prior to camp day). All three sessions are $50 for advance registration/$60 for later registration or walk-in. Multiple options to fit needs and schedule are available.
