The 2008 Telluride Bluegrass Festival band competition winners, The Blue Canyon Boys, will play Saturday, May 7 at 7 p.m. at the Black Forest Community Church. The band’s performance is the first in a series called “Play for the Piano” intended to help the church purchase a new piano for the sanctuary. Tickets can be purchased for $10 in advance and $12 at the door. Advance tickets can be purchased at the church office on the corner of Shoup and Black Forest roads between 8 a.m. and 11 a.m. Monday through Thursdays.
