On Oct. 5, Falcon’s newest financial institution, Chase Bank, will be open for business. Along with a ribbon-cutting ceremony by members of the Eastern Plains Chamber of Commerce, Chase Bank will host its grand opening Oct. 31. Activities will include a costume contest for the youngsters – and prizes; snacks and giveaways for everyone.Chase Bank spent about $3 million to build the Falcon Branch. “For us, it’s a no-brainer to have a branch in an area that’s flourishing,” said branch manager Kari Fontenot. “It’s a huge compliment to Falcon because it’s a huge investment. We’re out there because Falcon is growing, and we saw it as a great investment opportunity.” Fontenot said Chase wants to make sure they are not only part of the community, but also utilizing community resources, such as people. Many of the friendly faces at the Falcon bank are local residents. “We offer familiar faces with world-class banking,” she said.Chase Bank is an international financial institution.
