On March 1, Ent Federal Credit Union moved into bigger digs on the northeast corner of McLaughlin Road and Woodmen Road. Ent officials have wanted to expand the Falcon branch for some time.Matt Gendron, vice president of operations for Ent, said, “The old site just didn’t give our customers enough privacy. It was always seen as a temporary location, so when the Colorado National Bank building came on the market, we seized the opportunity.”The new facility offers Ent’s customers safe deposit boxes and drive-up window lanes, with operating hours from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. during the week and 9 a.m. to noon Saturdays.”Forty-two new accounts were opened the first 10 days the new location was up and running,” Gendron said. Ent has a three-prong approach for gaining new customers. “We have a strong marketing and sales staff, but it’s word of mouth that truly brings in the business,” he said. A “street visible” building enhances the entire approach. “In the past, we received a number of calls from customers out east who couldn’t find the old location. Now, that shouldn’t be a problem.”
