PPLD December children’s program

The Pikes Peak Library District offers weekly children’s programs:

  • Baby Time – Read, rattle and rhyme! This program is for babies under age 1 accompanied by an adult. Space is limited. This program is held Mondays at 10 and 11 a.m. at East Library and Mondays at 10:30 a.m. at the Penrose Library.
  • Paws to Read – Let your child practice reading and build fluency by reading to a Paws to Read dog. This program is held Mondays from 10 a.m. to noon at East Library and Wednesdays from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. at the Briargate and East Library branches.
  • Snuggle Up Storytime – A special family storytime suggested for children older than 3 years old. Children can wear pajamas and bring a cuddly toy. This program is held Wednesdays at 7 p.m. at the East Library and Wednesday, Dec. 2, 6 and 30 at 7 p.m. at the Briargate branch.
  • Mrs. Claus Tells Stories – Join storyteller Cathy Kelsay as she brings Mrs. Claus to life to tell favorite holiday stories, sing holiday songs and share puppets to celebrate the season. This program will be held Saturday, Dec. 12 at 10:30 a.m. at the Briargate branch; and Wednesday, Dec. 23 at 9:30 and 10:30 a.m. and Saturday, Dec. 26 at 10:30 at the East Library.For more information, visit ppld.org.
