The Falcon Book Club meets the fourth Thursday of the month from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Farmers State Bank. On Dec. 18 the club will discuss “The Last Lecture” by Randy Pausch, as well as “Freedom Writers Diary” or “The Freedom Writers” by Erin Gruwell. New readers are welcome and are not required to register in advance of the meetings. For the December meeting, please bring a wrapped book. This book can be new or used, liked or disliked. After a book exchange, each person will read their ‘new’ book and give a short synopsis in January. This can often be the basis for future reading choices.
