FALCON SENIOR SERVICES NEWS

All Falcon Senior Services activities are free of charge and served by volunteers. The services are available to persons 60 years of age and over living in the Falcon area.NOVEMBER LUNCHEON:Students of Patriot Learning Center Middle School will host a Thanksgiving Feast for Falcon Senior Services members Nov. 12. The students are involved in planning this event and have sent invitations to seniors. They are excited, as are the seniors who look forward to joining them for a traditional Thanksgiving dinner.FUNDRAISER TO BENEFIT FALCON SENIOR SERVICES BUILDING FUND:The COOKBOOK has been received from the publisher and is available for purchase. It is a 150-page book full of recipes from “well-seasoned” cooks and sells for just $10. Contact Phyllis 683-2405 or Gloria 495-0859 to reserve your copy.WINTER HOLIDAY BOUTIQUE:A Winter Holiday Boutique will be held Saturday, Nov. 8 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Patriot Learning Center gymnasium, 11990 Swingline Road (south of the intersection of Highway 24 and Meridian Road). Many items crafted by FSS members will be for sale as well as freshly baked holiday bread and candy. Coffee, juice and samples of breads will be available to buy and can be enjoyed on site.
