The Falcon Fire Protection District board of directors is accepting applications to fill a board vacancy. The vacancy was created when board member Kerry Smith resigned Oct. 15. Richard Martin, FFPD board president, said candidates interested in applying for the open position should submit a letter of intent by Nov. 12 at FFPD station #1.
