High Country Kids has gotten off to a great start in 2008. At the January meeting, new members were introduced to the club and last month’s meeting minutes were discussed. The new business entailed review of various camps and Festival of Events. As a special treat, the members tasted goat milk cheese after Mrs. Kramer gave a demonstration on how to make it. The requirements for El Paso County Fair were discussed and the group decided to go on a sledding trip for the annual winter party at Mueller State Park. The 4-H group is discussing whether to visit a nursing home or clean up a trailhead for their community service project.
