The second St. Anneís Road lighting contest was held in Woodmen Hills Friday, Dec. 7. The north and south side of the streets competed, and 14 homeowners in Woodmen Hills participated. Thousands of brightly colored lights lit up the homes, from rooftops to garage doors.Kris Stonestreet from The New Falcon Herald announced this yearís winner: the south side of the street sparkled in the glory.Although temperatures plummeted below freezing, hot chocolate and apple cider kept everyone warm. ìWeíre competitive, but weíre united in this little community,î said homeowner Amy Enghaus. ìWe just like to bring back the good oleí wholesome Christmas spirit to our street!î
