The Falcon High School golf team had a successful season this year. With the help of coach Andy Franco and new coach Josh Frie, the team soared to great heights.I think we did very well this year,” Franco said. “We had a few new additions to our team this year, and I think that helped us.”In August, the team participated in the first tournament of the season at Patty Jewett. They placed first in the 4a division and 9th over all. They placed fourth at their second tournament at the Air Force Academy.Their hard work paid off when they qualified for state for the first time. The top four finishers were Tyler Aynes, Kent Smith, John Keinast and Ryan Frost.
