Jason Catron, head football coach at Falcon High School, was named the Denver Broncos high school coach of the week, according to an Oct. 9 article in the Denver Post.Catron, a math teacher, has been coaching the Falcons since 2002 and assumed head coaching duties in 2005.As of last week, Falcon High School was ranked No. 2 in The Denver Post/9News Class 3A poll; Class 3A South Metro League.That could change with the win over Alamosa on Oct. 12.
