Lions Club President Joe Boehringer presided over the Aug. 28 Falcon Lions Club Program Meeting, which was held at Colorado National Bank. The bank provided snacks for the meeting, which included the Tail Twister’s Minute segment. Lions member Leon Gomes was quite animated as he tossed out questions about the Lions Club to fellow members.Lion Rob Dalzell introduced the guest speaker, Dr. Nancy Wright, superintendent of Falcon School District 49. Dr. Wright presented an informative talk about the current status of the district’s educational programs and buildings. New and innovative ideas abound throughout the district. Dr. Wright is insightful and inspired the Falcon Lions Club members to become more involved in the educational process.District Gov. Monty Whitney presided over an induction ceremony to welcome new Lions members Rick Wilcox and Dr. Nancy Wright.
