Falcon Exchange Club members served ribs, pulled pork, beef and side dishes – all provided by Howard’s Pit BBQ – at the Woodmen Hills 10th anniversary luau.The Exchange Club welcomes its newest member: Lt. Col. Douglas Burrer, who is stationed at Fort Carson. Burrer is about to be deployed, and members are hoping that Burrer will return home soon to his family in the Falcon area.Members also are selling raffle tickets at the Big R on select weekends. The next sales date is Sept. 8, starting at 9 a.m. and Sept. 9, starting at 10 a.m. The grand prize is a two-horse trailer and the alternate prize is either a four-day, three-night cruise to the Bahamas on Carnival Cruise Lines or a weekend getaway to San Francisco, Las Vegas, Orlando or Key West. All trips include round-trip air for two, a rental car for the weekend trips and $500.
