Businesses rally for fundraiser

The July 28 silent auction for the Rocky Mountain Leukemia and Lymphoma Society held at Frankie’s Too brought in more than $1,000, said Jayne Whiteside, who organized the event.Jayne, whose mother suffers from non-Hodgkins Lymphoma, is raising money to run in the Oct. 14 Denver Marathon as a team member of the Rocky Mountain Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Jayne would like to thank the following businesses for their contributions to her efforts: the Horseshoe Barn, Bed, and Breakfast; Horn Creek Conference Center in Westcliffe; Charlie Brown’s Good Time Travel; Lori Mueller from Pampered Chef; Colorado National Bank; A Flair For Hair; Focus on the Family; Colorado Tree Farm Nursery; Elements of Design; Eagle Eye Housecleaning; Don’s Garden Shop; and Jani Trujillo of Mary Kay.
