Planning consultants from HB & A provided copies of two plans the committee will use to establish goals. The Falcon/Peyton plan of 1993 and the 2003 Highway 94 plan defines previously set goals, objectives and implementation plans.Committee members analyzed the changes that have been made in the area and how those changes affect the goals of the new plan. With the time allotted, members discussed growth, land use and transportation. The committee also will address natural systems, water resources, community services, public facilities, commercial/industrial uses, agriculture, education, parks/open space, economic development and affordable housing.Falcon resident Lynne Bliss was elected chairwoman of the committee, and Jason Alwine of William Guman & Associates was elected vice chairman.A public workshop is scheduled Aug. 15.
