The Falcon Exchange Club meets on the first and third Tuesday of the month. If you wish to become involved in a dynamic, enthusiastic, forward looking service club, call Joe Bauer at 262-9222.April is Child Abuse Prevention month, and at its April 3 meeting the Falcon Exchange Club brought in a representative from the KPC Kids Place, a safe haven for kids and a respite center for caregivers. KPC Kids Place is sponsored by Pikes Peak Family Connections. The Exchange Club will provide a financial contribution to KPC Kids Place.On April 17, the Exchange Club will host a representative from the Juvenal Court System. The topic of discussion will include juvenile problems in El Paso County and the probable causes.On April 20, the Falcon and Colorado Springs Exchange clubs will join Pikes Peak Family Connections at their annual child abuse prevention rally at the Olympic Training Center.On April 21, the National Exchange Club is promoting a national child abuse prevention program. All Exchange clubs will distribute material on child abuse prevention and fetal alcohol syndrome during a scheduled two-hour period. Colorado clubs will participate from 11 a.m. to 1 p. m.
