The Exchange Clubís membership has grown to 24 with the addition of John and Patricia Mora, sponsored by a fairly new member, Cherie Jordache.Nancy Hayes and Carole Conder will chair and co-chair, respectively, the club’s youth programs.Andy Conder is chairing the Americanism Committee; Dale Misner is chairing the Community Service Committee and Bob Miller and Pedro Gonzales will chair and co-chair the Prevention of Child Abuse Project.The club is looking at several fundraising options for the future.Fundraisers are the sole source used to support the clubís various programs, projects and activities. The funds raised during the Prevention of Child Abuse two-horse trailer raffle, sponsored by the Colorado Springs Exchange Club, allowed for some projects but not all. A portion of the funds raised from the raffle was transferred to the Falcon Club for use in the Falcon community.The Exchange Club of Falcon disbursed its first contribution to the El Paso County Sheriff’s Department for the Teddy Bear Project, part of the Prevention of Child Abuse program.For additional information about the Exchange Club of Falcon, call Joe Bauer, 262-9222.
