NO SNOW IN FALCONOn Friday, Dec. 29 we received a phone call stating that it was “warm and sunny” in Falcon. Possibly a bit of severe cabin fever, since it was the second time in two weeks that Gov. Owens had called out the National Guard because of a Colorado snow storm.WHERE HAS THE PROPERTY OWNER GONE?It appears that no one can find the owner of the property where the new houses are located off Meridian Road (near the veterinary hospital). The county is looking for him or her; if you have any leads, call the county. Rumors have the property in a bankruptcy filing.NEW YEAR’S WISH LIST:Taco Bell, Outback Steakhouse, Lowe’s, Home Depot, an Italian restaurant, a Mexican restaurant, a clothing store, etc., etc. – all past rumors. Will 2007 close the rumor mill on those speculations? Wait and see.
