The El Paso Board of County Commissioners approved the 2007 Regional and Urban Park Impact Fees, which are paid by developers to support regional and urban park fees. The fees will remain the same for 2007.The board approves the fees each year based on the recommendation of the Park Fee Advisory Committee, a volunteer board comprised of El Paso County residents. Lynne Telford, chair of the committee, said the decision was based on three factors: Land values did not change significantly over the last year; a fee increase could be detrimental in a time when the housing forecast is discouraging; fund balances and revenue projections appear adequate for 2007.District 2 fees: neighborhood park: $90; community park: $151; regional park: $353
Park fees approved – no change
