The Service Corps of Retired Executives – SCORE – is now offering one-on-one business counseling by e-mail. Mark Sievers, a Cripple Creek attorney and local SCORE volunteer counselor, said that e-mail counseling “benefits the counselor and the person seeking advice. The business person can pose the question when he or she has the time.” As a counselor, Sievers said he can research the answer before replying.To access the e-mail process, go to the www.score.org national home page; enter keywords/question on the home page and a list of counselors appears, excluding counselors who are unavailable that day or who have filled their daily quota. Then, select a counselor by expertise and state. You can also click on “Ask SCORE” on www.score.org.
